Very cool group, Les. I've long admired the Bargeon knives but have not fired or even handled one, what's your opinion on the action of your copy? Thx!

Opens hard and fast. But for some reason does not always lock up, seems to hit stop and bounce thus missing the lock. I can play with how I hold and it will lock. Don't know anybody local that can look at it for me. Almost like to much spring. Other then that a neat little knife.

Thanks Les. I think that's referred to as "backlash", but I don't know how to correct it, although I do believe there is a way. Perhaps when someone familiar with that problem reads this they'll offer up some advise on how you'd fix it. It sure is a good looking knife with the all-metal body.

You can tighten the pivot by tapping it with a small hammer and some sort of anvil supporting it.
Tap one side a little, try it. Turn it over and tap the other side, Try it.
Repeat until it tightens up enough to open properly.
