I don't know squat about motorcycles but I sure like the looks of them.

This is my 7th Harley and had a bunch of jap bikes back in the day. This one is my favorite, thanks for the comments!

I've had just shy of 10 HD's in my day. One Norton, and yes, tons of Japanese bikes -- a few on road but mostly dirtbikes.

BTW -- the white walls MAKE that bike! Love it...

My first was a Honda 350 with the high pipes. The second was my favorite, a Moto Guzzi 850-T. The rest were all Jap bikes. Traded the Guzzi for a little Ford tractor with an end losder & a bush hog. Later in life I missed getting the Guzzi back by about a month.

Good one. I had one until the flood of 2006 got it. Great bike.

Jerry, I had an Guzzi 850 T3. Looking back it was probably my favorite too.

It balanced so well, impossible to describe. I did things on that bike I wouldn’t dare to do on my other bikes.

I've burnt my legs so many times I don't remember, parking at the gas pump to fill up. Guess I shouldn't wear shorts if I need to put gas in a bike. I'll wear them anyway as weather permits, what's a little scorch on the old skin anyway.

I burnt a FMF Fat Boy dirt bike pipe logo into the side of my leg moving my brother's dirt bike while wearing shorts once. It wasn't really bad, almost like a bad sunburn.

Nice bikes!

I have had a few.
I have ridden a motorcycle in every state, had to rent one in Maui.

We moved to far-southern TN 4.5 years ago, and at that time I had 17 bikes.
I let 10 go before the move, and 2 more since settling in down here.

I bought a Honda 250 trail bike with my first pension check, so my wife and I have electric start cheater dirt bikes for off roading down here.

I have a Kawasaki 1400 Concours and a FXDI 88 for street needs.

The following page has not been updated in years, need to fix that...

http://www.iammoon.com/bike.html

The last picture in the link above is my old road dog Kawasaki Concours 1000. I put 100k miles on that one.

Here is the replacement road dog yesterday.

I will post a pic of the Harley later, today is oil change day for it.

Nice Scooter there Samb ::tu::
Had a few over the 40 plus years of throwing a leg over The pic of us leaving the campground for a run was in the late 80s or early 90. Was home on leave and spent the 30 days riding around on a chopped out Sportster. Believe it was a 65, kick start only . Couldn’t do that anymore. Over the years there’s been many bikes and mostly good memories. Being from Wi it’s only fitting to ride a HD as they used to be made only in Milwaukee,Wi.
The latest and very likely the last is this 2002 Ultra that’s we massaged the engine and put some close ratio gears in the 5 speed tranny. It’s a great cruiser and very dependable.
Interesting to see what everyone chooses to ride .
Keep the knees in the breeze and the shiny side up .

Terrific topic, Sam!
I just happened across it now and you guys showed some great bikes.
I never had one, but your chopper is just what mine would have looked like had I built/bought one, Sam, although my bars would be knucklers instead of hangers. Really like the blacked-out look!
The only Harley I owned was a 250 cc dirt bike that could do wheelies all day long, and after that a Triumph 500 Daytona with dual-carbs that could keep up with any 650 Triumph on the road. That bike was my last due to me being only 18 and totally irresponsible with it, cuz I'd go to our local watering hole drink my fill and then see how fast my bike would go. After 2 VERY close calls I hung-up my handlebars!
It just dawned on me that a normal person would only need 1 close call to pack it in, but it took me 2! ::facepalm::
Kindda wish I had a bike now since by all rights I should be more responsible, and it sure would be fun riding nowadays.
Unfortunately, living where I do makes for a very short riding season, so it's really not practical owning a bike up here.
I'll just have to be happy with my knives instead!

I not only like your taste in knives, Rick, but now your taste in bikes.
I wanted a Sporty so badly at one point I actually thought of saving up for one but never did.
In the picture it appears you have colors on, might I ask what your patch reads? ::shrug:: Thx!
