No need to replace the scales on that Norvell, that can be repaired with AcraGlas. Bridge knives are scarce. A full blade is a tall order.

Thank you Joe, they definitely are something else. These are my only knives with pick bone. May I ask when you mention “Knife Lore” is it something that I can get parts from and possibly work for me? I don’t have funds often but I sure do hope when time comes I have them so I can get these two fixed.
He is referring to a thread in the Knife Lore forum here on AAPK. Looking again I see your second knife is not a sleeveboard but perhaps a dog leg. What ever it is it has its history and I would hope you would consider carrying it as is or using AcraGlas as suggested before. Much as that is a good idea I have plans for either original donor scales or have someone make me scales for it. I really do appreciate the input. Fixing old knives must go as planned. Mishaps can happen. These knives will still cut and whittle.
Other opinions will differ of course. I wish you the best with them.
