What happened to the videos that are missing in the topics here?

It seems the fella who posts the vids takes a lot of them down after sharing them here for some reason

I think we lost a lot of them in an upgrade. I had posted a lot of Sheffield videos by Grace Horn and others.
Grace Horn had some videos with Trevor Ablett, one of the last old school Sheffield cutlers. I will see if I can find them and repost them.

Not necessary. I just noticed that the poster had deleted his YouTube account. He had evidently gotten enough clicks from AAPK to move on to the next big thing. His specialty was taking us offsite to see his videos. He has not posted on AAPK for a while.

That is unfortunate.

I put up vids on yt just for my own fun; pretty sure this old man won't ever be a sensation.

I wonder what the next big thing would be? I don't like the tik-tokie/shorts format yt is pushing to compete but the "monetizers"
will run after wherever the young-uns go.

The funny thing is that I have found yt channels that haven't been updated for 10 years but the vids are still there and it costs the content owner nothing.

Must have been some other reason to delete all his vids.

I plan on putting 10 years onto the end of my hosting plan in my estate and turn it over to my kids to keep or not. It would mostly be for the family pictures, but I have documented years of motorcycle trips and other activities on my server,, as well as my knife collection..

Eventually it all ends up as,, well since this is a vid thread....
