St. Augustine, FL

So I made an off hand comment about visiting St Auggie sometime, eventually, maybe ....

Now, my darling wife has decided that is our next get-a-way destination, in about two weeks.
"We" decided on Father's Day weekend as to when, but have not decided on where, be it near a beach or in town.

So, I am asking the collective here at AAPK for any positive recommendations or 'stay away from' suggestions
or comments. I've never been to that side of Florida, only to PCB.

Thank You Gentlemen . . . . ::handshake::

I have only driven through St. Augustine, but this might help you find some attractions -

I can tell you the Atlantic beaches are not as pretty as the Gulf beaches. You get in up to your knees and you can't see your feet.

No trip there would be complete without visiting the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

At least in my opinion.

Enjoy the trip, beautiful area.

I agree Castillo de San Marcos is a must see and you need to take a tour of the city on one of the hop on hop off trolleys.
