All About Pocket Knives

Here's a hunter I just picked up. It's damascus over a 52100 core. The damascus is 16,384 layers. Eight pattern welded mixtures of steel, forged and folded 11 times (I think that's right.) They cover a 52100 core that Devin Thomas wanted Murray to try out. 52100 is Ed Fowlers favorite steel. It all boils down to one beautiful knife. The Ironwood scales cover a full tapered tang, with nickel silver trimmings. Came with an awesome sheath made by Murray's wife.

I'll post pictures of it's first hunt trip..............................yea right!

Fabulous looking knife. That damascus over another solid core is sure getting popular. Wish I knew how to do it.
