I neglected to post my usual disclaimer and mention that I don't own any of the knives I posted. They are just from hundreds of photo files I have saved on my laptop. Although, I did remember this one that I own after I posted the others. It appears to be an "unfinished" limited edition of some sort. The price was right.
That's a very nice set you have! I used to have a few of the red bone Heritage knives, but not any that have the shield we're talking about. And not a full set. Just so you know, those shields were used on the "Complimentary" knives handed out by Schrade to lucky individuals. And they were used on other limited editions, Like the Old Timer Classics. Below are some examples. I didn't find a 61OT Complimentary knife in my files. That's not to say there isn't one out there somewhere. ???
