Got this last month in a trade with a friend. Imperial Russian M1907 “Bebut” Khindjal. Carried by artillerymen, engineers, and later general use. Not a lot of info out there on these. Not made after WWI, and examples were later collected and destroyed. Worn with either a purpose-made frog or just a leather loop on the belt. This example is made by the Izhevsk arsenal, one of two makers and the less common. Matching numbers and unit marked. Double-edged with both sides sharpened. Wicked close combat and general utility (brush clearing) weapon.
