The McLilley & Company sword, Columbus, Ohio

A friend of mine has this sword, approximately 36" long including the handle. It is marked "The McLilley & Company, Columbus, Ohio. I know it's a long shot but was wondering if anyone might have some information on it and if it had any value. Thanks in advance.
