Hey everybody, I have a 1955 Belknap Hardware Hardcover #115 marking thee 115th year in Louisville,Ky.. If anyone is interested in trading for an item like this. It has a whopping 4150 pages almost 4 inches thick, you could have ordered everything under the sun, Primble knives, some Scharde Walden, Imperial, Colt, just to name a few. Plus, furniture, bicycles, carpet, furnaces..tools out the wazoo
....china. I have spent hours looking through every item, and it is a cool book, to say i remember this and that, or my grandparents used this and that..
You have Remingtons, Mossbergs shotguns and rifle, handguns , ammo, fellas everything..I have had to repair the spine of the book and some pages, but this is still in great shape, it came from Division 4, which is not my location here in Louisville we were Division 1. Fair trades please, try buying one , you can look up on the internet and find the prices these go for, i like vintage Camillus, Case, Primble, Scharde, you get it, older knives in decent shape, switchblade, as long as it is reasonable........ Thanks for looking Theo

That is an aesthetically pleasing and awesome looking book Theo

Unfortunately, I have about 6,000 books in my house already and I am trying to NOT bring any more in and get rid of some of them myself ...

I'm in the same position, I need to get rid of books not buy more.
It is a very cool book though! I have an old Sears catalog from the 1930s I believe and a Herters catalog from the 1950s. They are great fun to browse through, and dream. We had a Herters catalog on the ranch when I was a kid in the 1960s. I spent hours looking at rifles and other hunting gear.
I don't remember ever buying anything from it though. Is definitely the stuff Daydreams are made of!

Looks like a great book!

However...

... You said it! I just headed out back to check on some books I set in boxes and then put books on my back porch and of course a little while ago a thunder storms comes up and the rain comes and the water is getting through the tarps over the books and they are getting wet

... AND NOBODY WANTS THE BOOKS! I can't even give them away anymore. I used to do a brisk trade in at a local used book store and all this year they won't take but 1 or 2 books if I bring in three or 4 boxes!!!

I totally understand, I have enough books myself

dang thing is so big, but I will end up keeping it, since it was a hometown company.
