I'm an old guy but a newbie here so hello to all. I've owned and carried switchblades for 50 years so to me they are in some ways special and some ways not so much.,like my anvils,a tool that has just become a part of my life. Until people started knocking on my door asking "how much for that anvil in your back yard"? I didn't even know they had become collectors items.I got my pick lock as a kid and some others along the way.I never looked for highly prized rare brands or types but more so what I perceive to be high quality. I am presently making some changes in my life as many people do and am downsizing, machine shop equipment, tools, cars, trucks and just general clutter. One thing I have not been able to nail down is what I should ask for some of my knives.I know I can't sell here for a certain time period but was just hoping to gain some insight as to worth. One thing on the chopping block will be an A.G.A. Campolin 13" wasp still new in the pouch that I bought about ten years ago.,at the time it seemed like a good deal but it's too big for my liking and it's not something I want to lug around in my pocket. Thanks to all and as I said, I'm just looking for some advice.,I hope that's not against any rules.

to AAPK,1OTC!
I don't want to really go out on a limb here, but your 10 year old wasp Campolin will be worth some good bucks since they don't make them any longer, particularly in the condition you described.
Try having a look at what they have at
www.arizonacustomknives.com as they get many Campolin knives cross their shelves and you might get an idea of your knife's worth. It's a totally safe link.
There's also
www.pvk.com who has your knife on occasion. Also a safe link.
And of course, there's all the AAPK stores who have different knives rotating constantly.
Good luck, and don't sell it for too little!

Thanks.,My problem is I don't know what "too little"is. Every thing I find just says unavailable or not in stock.

About all I can add, 1OTC, is that your knife sold for likely upwards of $300. ten years ago when you got it, and from what you tell us it's in mint condition, so personally I wouldn't go below about $400. if you really wanna sell it, below $600. if you don't really wanna sell it. Remember this is me, your mileage may vary!

Hello 1OTC. Your Campolin sounds like a very nice knife. I am still pretty new too and learning the ropes. The posted advice for value is sure good. I learn a lot here. I often search the AAPK store about values. There are some collector groups on facebook and a lot of buying and selling goes on there. You would likely find some eager buyers there.

I will try to get some pics up soon but it will require assistance from my neighbor the computer guru. Sadly enough I am not very high tech.,my newest vehicle is a 1972 and still has point fired ignition. My 1966 will be one of the other items to go on the chopping block also. In time all things must pass.

Pass a gall stone? I think I’d look like a coon hound trying to pass a peach seed.
