Very cool. Superior Steel Blade, English? Usually one side pulls 12 gauge, the other 16 gauge.

Yes I think I have seen these were made in Sheffield.

Here we go...
These knives were made in India. Nothing like this was made in Sheffield.
Very crude construction. This one appears to have the brass bolsters nickel plated. They are post-WW2.

The wording on the blade and lack of gauge stamps on the pullers is a characteristic of these knives made in India. I would guess that the pullers are the same size. Given all this they are old and can actually function quite well in spite of their cruder construction. I think they tell a cool story out of the pages of cutlery history. Cool knife.

Upon first viewing, India came to mind, then as I read-on it was confirmed, I think I'm getting better at this!

Seems really high quality and super old. When were Sheffield’s made?

This has steel liners and pins and steel bolsters. The flip release tab is brass

It's not high quality, nor is it super old, nor was it made in Sheffield.

I like it. Feels really cool in the hand. Really strong spring, and real horn handles.

It’s got to be neatly 100 years old. Is that considered antique?

I'm used to seeing a "12" and "16" on the shell puller bolsters, which look kind of malfitted when I expand the picture. Would you happen to have pictures of the spring and blade well with the blades open? Thanks!

Since the knife was made in India post WWII, as Bill said, it would have been made after 1945 making the knife 78 years old at most. I think it's a pretty cool old knife but it is not Sheffield made or Sheffield quality.

Of course our hobby is suppose to be fun, but not at the expense of posting incorrect information, that's how this forum has remained relatively "knife pure", cuz we state the facts and reject the incorrect.

In the description it clearly states "created in Pakistan".

Although I no nothing about this type of automatic knife, I don't think anything this crudely made came out of Sheffield.
