Almost Like New Again

These are the first scales I've done in probable a year. This is a 2.5" Barlow made in Japan with the Texaco Star logo on the bolster.
It belongs to my oldest son and he loves to carry it in his dress slacks. When he sent it to me it was pretty dirty and had no scales
on it. I cleaned and polished it but I couldn't decide what material I wanted to use for such small handles and finally decided on the black Micarta. Being out of practice for a year it's not the best job I've done but I think my son will appreciate it and carry it for many more years.

Looks excellent, David, and a handy little knife to carry. ::tu::

Good job!
I have seen a couple of Japan Barlows with blades at botg ends, but never one like that. Very nice and unique, and all dressed up in new clothes!
