All About Pocket Knives

Just got this in the mail. I've seen this before but never owned one, until now. I'm sure there's a post about it here somewhere but as I'm not sure what to call it, here it is. It seems to be a stand? It'll balance upright on it.

Punch, mostly for leather.

Edit - check that. With the flat bottom on the heal, it may be a pipe reamer; the flat bottom to tamp your tobacco.

Pipe smoker's knife. Thing on back is a tamper for tamping down tobacco, the awl is for scraping out burned residue from the bowl.

Pipe smokers knife has a nice alliterative ring to it, thank you for the info my dude.

Hmmm ... Well I guess you can "put that in your pipe and smoke it" ....

I thought you were asking about the iron thing the knife is perched on!
My Dad was a dedicated pipe smoker for over 40 yrs., it's a pipe smokers knife, no doubt about it!
