What's that scale material? Glitter pumpkin?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

It could be a complete fake, but I'm guessing that the new glitter handle scales were recently added and while he or she was at it, they added the "threaded" bolster feature. Not hard to do with the right kind of file.

As to whether it's a fake or not I couldn't say.,but I do remember them being in the local hardware display case for sale back around 1977-78. Looked similar but If my memory serves me correctly was not actual goldstone. As for the bolsters???

Need someone who collects this pattern to give an opinion. Hard to say much from just a single picture. From what I see I wouldn’t bid on it. I don’t particularly care for the pattern myself, but I do have a couple of them.

It is a complete fake, looks like it was made out of modern Queen parts. Case did use a little of the orange glitter material back in the day, but those handles look way too new. Case very rarely put shields in metal flake handles, and that shield looks too small and too new. Blade and frame look too new.

Yes, unfortunately a complete fake as Steve has said.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Did case make this pattern with grooved bolsters in the tested era?...I have looked at several tested era knives of this pattern and found no grooved bolsters.

Not that I have ever seen. Case rarely used grooved bolsters on any pattern.

Is this knife for sale on eBay? The tang stamp alone says it all for me.
