All About Pocket Knives

Folks, many years ago, I acquired this bayonet from a friend of mine. I never knew where to look for some “ history “ on it, so I thought I might try here.
The overall length of handle and blade is 20.5” long.
On one side of the blade directly in front of the handle has the word “ARTILLERIA” in an arc. The next line says “F “ (then some sort of a marking I can’t decipher) and then “NACIONAL”. Then below that is “TOLEDO”
The other side of the blade has some (what appears to be) serial numbers, but I can’t make them all out.
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!

Bayonet is Spanish, not Mexican and definitely not as old as the Mexican war if you are referring to the Mexican-American war in 1848. Bayonet is circa 1900-1930s style, commonly used in WW1. Artilleria National means National Arsenal and Toledo is the city in Spain where it was made. Looks like it is in superb condition!

It’s a beautiful piece. Do you have the scabbard?
