Found this"Pocketeze" #323646, 3-1/8" Dogleg today. Saber-ground main, blades a bit stained but full, tight, and snappy. Nickel lined. Haven't found a nice Robey for quite a while. :D J.O'.

Thanks all.
Herb, Found it in one of "our" haunts.

Isn't "patina" a fancy Latin term for stain? And you know I'd never brag about a deal. :D :D J.O'.

What's a fancy latin term for "sanded"?

I came across mine today. It has a good deal more wear than your's J. O'.
It seems like someone may have used sandpaper on this poor thing. ::uc::

Joe, That's why I'll go to any lengths to leave them alone. Especially the saber-ground ones. It just smooths that shoulder down and the whole knife loses something. I guess if the choice is rust and pitting, well .... But they're still nice carry's. J.O'.

Given the 646 pattern number, you might look to see if there are bronze bearings on the ends of the blade tangs or the inside surfaces of the backsprings.

Thanks for the heads up, Charlie. No sign of bronze in the knife.

Thanks, Ike. :D
