what size is the top bolster rivet that holds the blade? thanks for your help

It can be any size. You have to remove it and measure.

I’ve never had one apart. I doubt anybody would guarantee you a size. Maybe Bill knows.

I would think somewhere between 2—3 mm.

Hmmm, let me see, where did I put those Frank Beltrame blades

I buy Frank Beltrame 11" swivel bolster stilettos to take them apart and use their parts for other knives.
These however are all 2.0's, with the 4mm thick blades, but I wouldn't be surprised if the pivot holes stayed the same from the older version.
Alright, the size of the pivot hole- The pivot holes in the blades are not a standard (SAE) size. It has been my experience that they, or whomever is assembling them knives in the US, use slightly undersized pivot pins 7/64ths of an inch in diameter.
If I were working on a Frank Beltrame stiletto, and I have, I would start with 1/8th" pin stock, and slowly reduce it for a custom fit. All of the pivot holes I've ever encountered on FB stilettos (more than the ones pictured), had holes a fraction under 1/8th". With the exception of one, that had a slightly oversized hole, but it was a perfect 1/8th", so it worked out great for my rebuild since I was using a 1/8th" screw/barrel pivot.
And the closest rod/drill gauge size to the blade pivot holes, without going over, is 33. So if you want to drill a hole, like if you are making custom liners or bolsters, I'd recommend using a size 33 drill bit, and then slowly working your way up by hand until you get a custom 1/8th" fit (wrapping sandpaper around the blunt end of a smaller drill bit and twisting it around in the hole to slowly and gradually make it bigger).

And it just occurred to me that in Italy they probably use metric size pin stock, so I did some measuring, and 3mm is a very close fit to the holes in my blades.
Also, just because I had one around, a 4-40 bolt is also a close fit (but a 3mm bolt is even closer).
