Mint in original “box”. Some of the youngsters may have not seen the packaging before the cardboard box used in later years.

That's a fine one!
One of my favorite patterns, quite useful to me at times.

As a using knife always liked the muskrat better than the trapper pattern. Hunted coon with dogs years ago and skinned on the spot. The trapper 2nd spay blade was not as useful.

That’s a dandy! I had several NIB Schrades in those plastic “boxes”. Gave them to my grandsons for Christmas a few years ago.
Interesting knife, wondering what makes it “improved” vs any other muskrat pattern?
I always thought “improved muskrat” was the name applied to a Hawbaker muskrat pattern, after the license to call it “Hawbaker” had expired.

Obviously I was wrong.

Never thought much about the “improved” probably slick marketing. Who wouldn’t want the improved version of a favorite knife?
