Here is one I made. O1 steel elk scales. Made and beaded the sheath also. Made my stamp to mark my knives.

There is a lot to love about that one!
A nice traditional blade shape, beautiful handles, and a hand-beaded sheath! I did a little beadwork as a teen. It is very tedious and time consuming, but rewarding.
Great job all the way around!

Thanks. The nice thing about forging, is the knife wants to be a skinner. Lol The bevel was hammered in rather than ground. Left the hammer mark to keep the “primitive” look. My wife was not impressed with the beading, she does a much better job.

Not a custom knife although I did make the handle. Museum for the Fur Trade Russell dag blade. Since folks like bead work the sheath was made and beaded by a good friend.

Very nice work and the bead work is very nice too, sure you already know just how much time and work goes into making these sheaths ~ you ever hear of the Crazy Crow Trading Post ~ they have a large selection of everything in regards to Mountain Men and Native crafts and supplies ~ My grandmother would be in awe of this sheath for she loved just about everything when it came to the Native Crafts and Art ~ she was of Cherokee decent from Oklahoma although she herself was born in Palestine Texas 1929 ~ very nice knife and work ~ J's, Pioneer Style Knives

You bet Crazy Crow is a great source of supplies. Not just beads but leather and some knife maker supplies.
