Here lately, I’ve been somewhat studying the Buck 110, specifically interested in ones potentially made in 1975 and trying to locate and identify them on eBay, etc. It’s my understanding that in about that 1975 area the 110 should have either three inlay pins or four pins, all of which are the small diameter pins. I’m I interpreting that correctly? Using up supplies on hand the two pin scales were drilled to add the new pin placement resulting in the 5 pin variation, more accurately it’s 4 scale pins and the rocker pin. Not sure how accurate the information is but saw one thread that estimated a bit over 1000 5 pin variation 110’s made. I have one in my collection and another in my sale case. Have to dig em out and check the tang stamp. Thinking there would be only one tang stamp for that variant. PM me if you’re interested in buying the one I have in my selling case.
