Tried some overlay

Post by Rossr »

This is latest knife I made and sheath. I decided to do some overlay with green leather and then a brown feather feather. Some basket weave arrow style too.

Best

Very nice work on the sheath and the knife.

What material did you use on the handle?

I wish I knew the wood type. I bought some stabiilzed scales from the wife of a knife maker who had passed away. They were unlabeled. he used to walk the woods and find interesting wood and cut to scales and stabilize them. Best I can tell you is it came from Ny state. It is pretty stuff. Thank you
