As P.T. Barnum once said,"there's a sucker born every minute". Looks like this guy is the epitome of hucksterism, (no offence Hukk). His elaborate listing, especially about the roque boar attacking the women, nearly brought a tear to my eye. And those exquisite spurs look about as plain as can be. I would give him 4 stars for being a good writer, but that's about it.

Hmmmn, I thought Davy wore mocassins.

Take it easy guys........ I'm the one that bought the holster last year! He is embellishing a bit though, it was only $243,000 and some change. Well..... plus shipping...... and insurance.

The spurs have been taken off eBay!!
From looking at the site mentioned above, I would assume that there is a maker who ID's his spurs with the stamp CROCKETT.
I believe the seller of ol' Davey's spurs got the shaft on this deal.
