I’ve had pretty good luck buying fixed blades from him, I tend to stay away from folders - I’m just not experienced enough- much less to worry about on folders. I spent about 20,000 to 30,000 with him over the course of several years and only returned maybe one in that time frame (handle crack that was not mentioned in the description).
Then I returned one high $$ Case knife since when I got the knife in hand it was an obvious (to me) rehandle job.
He did allow the return but blocked me permanently from buying from him, and in the process he unloaded a bunch of nasty insults at me. So he can be a real p***k if you get my drift.
