D-Day 80th Anniversary

The "beginning of the end" 80 years ago today. Probably the greatest display of mass bravery and commitment in the history of warfare.
We went to a Memorial Day tribute last week and saw a 99 year-old, D-Day vet who comes in his wheelchair each year. Last year I got to shake his old hand and he still had a proud and firm grip. What a rush of emotions. I pray that we have a generation that can come even close to the guts and dedication of those from the "Greatest Generation". J.O'.
