Schrade identification
Hi and thanks for allowing me into the site. I have a Schrade Marked: Schrade Cutco Walden NY on the blades. On one side of the handle is: American Bulb Co.Chicago-New York and the other is, Say it with Flowers. Any ideas of when it was made? The other knife is an Uncle Henry new in the box which is marked Ellenville, NY LB7 serial number 180606. Is there any way to determine the date of manufacture? Thanks in advance.

Images would help to give you more information. I am a little weak on the dates for your LB7, although certainly within 1973 and 2004, but I can tell you that the other knife was made between 1904 and 1946. As I say, photographs would allow more information.

Re: Schrade identification
Your Schrade Cut Co was likely made between 1926 and 1946 but without seeing pics it's hard to nail down beyond that. Some different patterns were introduced later.
The LB7 was made around 1978.
