Hello,
I have a Case XX pocketknife of my Great-Grandaddy's that my dad gave me recently. My Great-Grandaddy used it in construction extensively. It is in overall good shape, but it is pretty heavily tarnished, dirty, etc. As far as I can tell no damage though. I am looking for tips or suggestions on restoring it.
Thanks in advance!

Oil the joints (where the knife bends).
Without photos it's tough to tell what needs doin'.

Be advised that the way the knife is now is the way your Grandfather carried it last. If you "restore" it, then it becomes something else. Some light cleaning may be acceptable, many tips on cleaning can be found under the knife repair and restoration thread.
