BOMB SHIELD?

Does anyone have, or have a picture of, a Robeson knife with a "skinny" bomb shield ? I've been searching books and the net and I can't find one. Not saying they didn't make one, I just can't say I've ever seen one or owned one. Thanks. J.O'.

I've heard the second one called a bomb shield, not my idea. Just making the difference. Thanks, O'.

Bomb and Federal.

Winchester used a lot of Federal shields.

Red, Do you have a Robeson with a bomb? Or a catalog pic of one? Thanks. O'.

Thanks Red, Hello to Herb.

A Robeson in Jim Sargent’s book would have been mine.

Here are a few:
Some or all of these no longer belong to me, so I'm just showing the shields.

I'm thinking J.O's #17 might be a Bomb shield now, not a Federal, which is usually squared off. Or could it be an Hour Glass?

Charlie, it's on a Cattaraugus thread.

Here are a couple shots. Not sure if they're any better. 36 in the case and 26 on the board, 62 in all. I have a few more in other displays. Glad I got them over the years. Haven't bought a Catt in two years. Getting scarce. J.O'.

Very nice.
However, I thought you must have an intact vintage Robeson board and I had no recollection of having seen it before.
