I think those were part of a medical kit, kind of a huge first aid kit. But not for certain. Love the no line stamp. Congrats.

Nice No line Camillus Ridge .
Does it have brass or steel pins and liners ? My old eyes can’t tell .
Like Floyd stated have heard first aid kits/ Quartermaster / or bail out kit knife for Navy .
The bone from that period was nice stuff . Thanks for sharing

I believe those were marked MD USN, but I may be wrong.

Mike Silvey’s books have information in them on these. If you don’t have his book I can take a photo of the page and post it here, just let me know. BTW great find, I have been on the hunt for one of these for quite a while.

Here ya go. Again, that was an awesome find. All info comes from the books pictured. I don’t have any books by Bill Walters or Frank Tzarska yet but I I here they are great. I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if I can be of any more help. Oh and yeah I know I am a terrible photographer.
