So I'v decided to attempt my first disassembly and repair of a German Lever Lock and I'm seaking advise. Can anyone pass on the name of a supplier where I can purchase pivot pins with domed heads rather than peening both ends. Same source will probably have scale pins as well. Thanks Rick

I do not know of a source for pivot pins that are already domed on one end.
That does not mean that it does not exist, but I have not seen anything like that for sale before.
I do have a few small pins for scales that are pre-domed, but they were made by Schrade USA, and once those are gone there will be no more. They often are too short for handle scales anyway.
There are several knife mechanics who pre-peen one side of the pins before they use them. I use this technique occasionally, and it is easy and works well.

A flat head steel nail with a smooth shank should work for the pivot. But no matter what you use the chances of getting a perfect fit with something "off the shelf" may be unlikely. You might need to go with something slightly larger in diameter and then reduce it to produce a custom fit.
If the original handle pins are brass, you can get dome head brass finishing nails. McMaster has them from 18 gauge to 12 gauge.

Unless you have a very large assortment of nails, it will be difficult to find one that matches pivot sizes exactly- and pivot pins on autos need to be exact size.
Better to use the right size pivot and learn to peen rivet heads.
