I did not get "before" pictures, but I bought this knife last year from the Bear and Son factory sale. It was complete, but unfinished. The Buffalo horn handles were just rectangular chunks, all of the pins were pressed into place but stuck out, and the back of the springs and liners were an uneven mess.
I guess I never knew just how "rough" a factory knife is when all of the parts are first slapped into place.
So this job was nothing but a lot of time spent sanding and polishing.
At 4-1/8" this is the perfect sized trapper for me.

Re: Moore Maker 2202 Trapper
I showed this knife to a fellow deacon, and his only remark was "You need to put some Turkey footprints on it."
He was right.
Not perfect, but not too bad for a first try!
