All About Pocket Knives

Colonial miniature, possibly was on a cardboard display in a corner market in some small town. I remember these displays, but not these little knives. 4” overall. Probably late 30’s early 40’s

Thanks for the reply. They are neat little knives, I had never seen one in the box and sheath. That is a very nice sheath, that came with the knife. I see in your picture that they were made as a letter opener, souvenir.

They were a seven year old's dream in the early 50's when I was a kid. As I remember, they weren't very sharp, but they looked so cool on your jeans' belt.

Here's a CAMCO 3-1/2" blade hunter for the next size boy. It has a neat cap-lifter/church-key can opener combo on the guard. Ahhh, the fifties!! A great time to be a boy. J.O'.

Interesting how they marketed that Cub Hunter as a "souvenir letter opener", skirting the knife aspect. It must be a later model. I never saw that back when. I think they came on a card for like $1.29 or something close. J.O'.
