Ring pull pick lock

Never had one of these before. A friend forwarded the pic to another guy who made an offer. Thoughts on maker and ballpark value (I know everyone asks that question) antique SB is not something I have much experience with. Not adverse to giving a decent deal but would not care to sell for a small fraction of value.

That knife makes me a little nervous...
I got all kinds of stuff laying around by the bed,
I'd be afraid when I heard a noise at night and I grabbed that knife for protection and pulled the pin... in my sleepy
state I might have grabbed the wrong thing!
