This was posted by CASE today.
W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company is proud to introduce a new fixed blade to our already diverse lineup, the Sculpted Ridgeback. The Sculpted Ridgeback comes in 3 new handle materials to choose from! This knife is made for hard work and hard play with its Stainless-Steel Swept Skinner blade and new sculpted handles: Black Burlap, Natural Canvas and G-10 laminates. Each knife is comfortable and easy to carry with each one only weighing 4.2 ounces. It fits in your hand nicely and comes with a leather sheath so you can carry it on your belt or in your pack.
MSRP $129. Someone there posted that SHC web site has pre-orders at $109.

Honestly, ugly compared to the traditional Zytel.

Why this strangely textured G-10 compared to bone or stag is beyond me.

The tang stamp is etched, NOT stamped. ::huff:: ... ::hmm:: A move to cut cost I would assume.... ::shrug::

Actually, I believe it is lasered. Which Case has been doing on most knives for at least a couple of years if not longer, depending on the pattern. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... hp?t=78994

Thanks Ken, ::handshake:: ... ::hmm:: Well I ordered some Case XX knives from SMKW last year and some that were 2022 stock had a stamped tang stamp and yep... :|... the newer ones did not πŸ˜₯ I will miss the old, stamped tangs, that is always a draw for me to a knife, a nice deep tang stamp.... ::hmm::
