I am new to this forum. I live in South Louisiana and my family owned a hardware store that dates back to the early 1900's. My deceased father collected knives and one of the items is a Queen Steel display with 40 knives still attached. From the research I have done it looks to be from the 1950's. I would like any information about this set. It is NOS that he saved in the 1970's. I have attached some pictures.

Thanks for any information.

Nice display (I count 41 in total)! These become available from time to time like the one below that was offered recently for $3,000. Somebody will be along with more useful information.

Greg ::welcome:: to AAPK lots of info on here about Queen knives, they have their own sub forum and there's also a chart that shows different tang stamps. I can't help date them without seeing their tang stamps, but it looks like some are looking pretty rough, some looks like celluloid may be outgasing and it looks like some has what we call Delrin haze,if so that would date them to 1960 and later when Delrin was first comercially available. ::handshake::

I'm sure over the years many were sold and replaced. I will get some pictures of the tang stamps.

Thanks
