AAPK Club Knives - A Historical Record

Hello Everyone!

The intent of this post is to maintain a historical record of the AAPK Club knives that have been issued annually since 2009. The attachments below are intended to serve as a baseline for the record and this topic will be updated annually as a new knife is issued. If you find anything in the attachments to be incorrect and in need of correction, please post those proposed corrections in this forum to maintain transparency as the historical baseline is established. This will be post 1 of 2 due to the volume of attachments.

As I was assembling the attachments for this topic I was reminded how rich this community is to have supported an annual knife since 2009. God Bless each of you. ::handshake::

Greatly appreciated! Looks like the 2014 Moose is the rarest to date.

My favorite was always the 2017 Churchill. There were several handle materials on that run and the Rust Red Jigged Bone was the best one of them all.

Thanks for posting this, Tom.

Floyd, John, Rick, and Scott - thank you for the kind words - this is too valuable to risk becoming lost over time.

Tom, this is great information to have in one place! I love looking at (and lusting after) some of the past club knives from before I joined.

I would also like to add my thanks to Tom for doing this. I believe one is missing, the 2016 came out in two handle variations.
I also have them all except for the green handle variation of the 2016. The 2014 moose and the 2022 muskrat are my two favorites.

Thanks for the correction Dan, the image has been added. I had it accounted for in the table but I failed to load the image ::facepalm:: All 19 AAPK club knives to date have now been properly recorded. ::handshake::

Why do some years appear to have 2 knives? Man I sure like the 2023 and 2011s!

Here's what happens when you squirrel things away to be forgotten.

Recently, I picked up what I thought was my only missing Club Knife, a 2009 Canal Street Stockman in Ebony. Well, tonight while looking through my crate of Club and GEC tubes, low and behold, there's already a 2009 CS AAPK Stockman box with the knife inside. But, the two knives are in different size boxes, one with a GKSC added to the label. Then, examining the knives I notice one is hafted flat on both scales, and the etch fonts look a little different.

Anyone have a clue what's going on here? ::shrug::

Not a clue John - the 2 descriptions are different on the paperwork too ::shrug:: was the newest knife you purchased the one with the GKSC label and the hafted handles or was that the one you had first?

The one I found recently from Voyles with the flat scales was in the GKSC large Canal Street box. I honestly don't remember buying the one with hafted scales, need to see if I can find any receipts for that one.
