This gem is on ebay.

Not sure what all manufacturers and parts are involved here; but the clip blade (based on the pattern stamp) is from a Schmidt & Zeigler barlow. The frame and other parts I have no idea.

Somebody put a lot of work into bastardizing that thing. ::td:: I will however give them “C”, for creativity. ::facepalm::

I'm guessing that it is a Robeson frame and both blades are from a S&Z barlow. The wrech is crudely pinned on.

I contacted the seller, but he didn't seem to be pleased with the info I passed onto him.

They rarely are, especially the ones who just care about the money.

::hmm:: What keeps the adjustable wrench part from swiveling around?

That adjustable wrench is Abby Normal for all of our Young Frankenstein fans. Really, if your going to create something wouldn’t you start with an adjustable wrench in better shape since it’s the focal point of the creation?

What an abomination. Based on a Chinese adjustable wrench?

I had some dealings once on eBay with this clown (he was a buyer) - in addition to him being dishonest, he is about the dumbest human being I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

You could look at that knife from across the room and know that is a fake.
No, let me correct myself. You could look at that knife from across a football field and know that is a fake! ::barf::

Schmidt & Ziegler 551 is a Barlow pattern knife. Looks like a crossbreed fence jumper.

It is a $152.00 crossbreed fence jumper. You could buy a really knice knife for that much.

Horrible looking mess!

Some company did make a knife with an adjustable wrench at the end like that not to long ago. I thought I saved a picture of it but I can't find it.

Maybe someone else here has seen one of these modern iterations?

Cattaraugus made one, but it looks very different. Klein made one where they added the wrench head to the end of an electrician's jack. That one looks like a frankenknife.

Yes, I have several old Catts.

Maybe it was the Klein , whatever it was it was modern.

Was it this one, Dimitri? There might have been a Chinese Marble's version too.

The Chicoms make just about any gadget the mind can dream up. Just do an internet search for “wrench knife”. ::hmm::
