Mystery Folder Pocket Saw. Military? From Where?

Picked this up off the Bay. Seemed like a good one to spend some time looking into. Problem is…I’m not finding information anywhere. It seems crude, but also like it could have been military. Has a few markings on it that I believe are the number 2 over U 1-35 on both sides of the handle. The saw/blade is thick at 1/8th inch. Closed it measures about 4 5/8th inches. Any Thoughts?

Possibly Russian. The numbers l was told on Russian knives indicate the price allowed to be charged. This was before the fall of the Soviet Union.

That’s the gnarliest serration that I’ve ever seen - is it a saw or a knife ::shrug::

It started out in life as a folding knife, someone replaced the blade with a homemade "saw" blade.

If you look at the back spring with the blade closed it is sticking way out beyond the liners.

Also, the pin is crudely fashioned.

Thanks Knife7knut! I was thinking it was Eastern Europe-ish as well.

Bestgear-it is an ugly specimen for sure! Definitely was intended to be a saw of some sort.

Thanks Miller Bro’s! It certainly is a crude one. Any chance at all that it was/is Military from Russia? And it is the original saw/blade? Thoughts?

That would work better for scaling fish than as a saw or a knife.

In my opinion, that's exactly what it's designed for.
I've never seen one like this and I can't determine if it was made like this or if it's someone's modification.

I could see it as a fish scaler too for maybe something like carp. Thanks guys!
