All About Pocket Knives

I have been toying with the idea of an AAPK get together for sometime this summer, hopefully around the 4th of July. Maybe a Friday, Saturday and Sunday event in an area that is agreed upon by everyone. We could plan it to include having food catered in and we could all stay at a nearby hotels. If someone has a nice polebarn available with tables and chairs where we could sit and meet each other and show off some of our favorite knives that would be great. We could do some trading and buying. Anyone else up for something like this? I know it is difficult to find a place that would be agreeable to everyone. I kind of like the idea of having it near Titisville, Pa, so we could take some tours of the knife factories for those of us who got there earlier in the week. Old Ken says he will be providing the entertainment and will bring along his blue grass band.

Can this AAPK Group party be at the same time there is a KNIFE Show in town ? Like this Parker Show coming up in Tn. Will we all stay at the same HOTEL (that would be best)? If some one lives close to that town check and see if we can get 20 rooms in one.

I know there is a good hotel for the Queens Knife Show. Two or three night was a grate time last year. They even had a cook out Saturday night. Queens and GEC give tours of the factory.
