My wife just tested positive for cancer in a sore under her tongue. She will see a cancer specialist soon and have more tests to find out what we are actually facing. She is pretty scared and we don't know much yet about what's in store for her to beat this. Prayers are much appreciated.____dave

I will be praying for Jane as well as praying for you Dave. Cancer is a scary thing in this world, but Jesus says, "Fear not, I have overcome this world!"

Count me in!! Prayers for Jane, you the family and the doctors!!!

Today's the day we hopefully get some answers and direction of what we are facing. I've been looking forward to this day and dreading it at the same time. Thanks to all of you that have been holding us up in prayer.____Dave

Dave you give that lady a big hug and tell her there are a lot of folks praying.

Up date. We are back from meeting with the surgeon and he gave us some pretty positive reports. Surgery is scheduled for June 30 and he will take out about 1/3rd of her tongue. With that, she will be able to speak and eat normally. He won't put in stitches. They let the wound fill in like tonsils do. She needs a pet scan, a pre-op, and a cat scan before the surgery. There is one lymph node that he's concerned about that may be cancerous and he will operate on that at the same time to see if she needs radiation. He said it all appears to be something she can expect to be healed from but they will monitor for 5 years, monthly for the first year. Jane told him a lot of people were praying for her and she is on numerous prayer lists. The surgeon said she is added to his and that he always prays for God to intercede before all the surgeries he does. WE are so comfortable with him and couldn't be happier with him doing the surgery. Other people have told us that he is really good. Your prayers are already being answered. Thank you.____Dave

That is a positive report Dave and I'm so happy the doctor is a Godly and prayerful man. Stay strong and we will all keep praying each and every day.

We just got back from a Dr. visit, too late for church this evening. Wish I could have gone so I could share the good, positive report with those who have been praying for you and Miss Jane.
