This is what happens when I’m left a home unsupervised. Started this blade yesterday. 1/2 of a farriers rasp. Lots of pounding that thick stuff. Elk antler handle. Crude but intended for the Blackpowder crowd.

Awesome knife! What's the black powder crowd? I have a few black powder revolvers, that's why I ask.

Oh it folks like me that gather and camp like it’s 1840. Having black powder shooting match’s, tossing tomahawks and knives, primitive archery and a social gathering which can include adult beverages on occasion.

It is. A lot of folks go into great lengths to dress in period clothes and the rendezvous camp can look like it’s 1840. Like a lot of hobbies, some great people the quickly become friends.

Having been there and done that with the black powder crowd, it will fit in perfectly. Looks great. What have you got in mind for a sheath?

Thanks. Yes certainly going for the rustic look like something a blacksmith would have turned out 100+ years ago.

Something with a single slot, with tacks and fringes?
