Thanks for the reminder, J.O'. I hope to make it there someday, it sounds as if it is very well preserved. If you have any pics, please post.

I recently visited Stones River, a good experience but encroaching development and highways somewhat destroy the atmosphere.

Ike, I don't have pics other than those in books I've read. There are probably lots on line. It is a beautifully preserved area amid wonderful rolling Western Maryland farmland. No commercial development at all. If you ever get there, stand in Bloody Lane. It will move your soul to tears. ::handshake:: J.O'.
