I recently visited Stones River, a good experience but encroaching development and highways somewhat destroy the atmosphere.

Ike, I don't have pics other than those in books I've read. There are probably lots on line. It is a beautifully preserved area amid wonderful rolling Western Maryland farmland. No commercial development at all. If you ever get there, stand in Bloody Lane. It will move your soul to tears. J.O'.
