All About Pocket Knives

I recently purchased this set of 2 knives at an estate sale. I believe them to be a custom hand made set of a chef's knife and a paring knife. The only markings I can find are pictured. One side of the knife has engraved the name "Kennedy". The other side has engraved the year "2010". Both knives have the same markings. The handles appear to be some sort of micarta. The pictures do not show it, but they are full tang knives.

They appear to be well made quality knives and I am happy to have them. They both need to be sharpened and the larger knife has a couple small chips that I will need to work through. But I am excited to get them in good shape and try them.

I am hoping to be able to identify the maker of the knives. Please share any thoughts you have on the knives themselves or any ideas on who the maker may be. Thank you for your help.

Thank you bestgear for the quick response. I posted in the fixed blade area and the user railsplitter quickly gave me the answer.

After a little research into Bill Kennedy Jr I believe he is the maker. The markings on his knives match the style and placement of the markings on my knives. An example is below. Thank you to Railsplitter for quickly giving me the correct answer.

You are welcome good Sir. I forgot that he was a “Junior” but now that you mentioned it, I do remember that.

The little slip joint that I used to own from Bill Jr. was a really sweet little knife. It was very much like the Buck 505 in size and shape and it was advertised as having “old Utica Bone” handle slabs. Why I sold it is lost on me now.
