Case Folding machete

This is a WW2-vintage Case folding machete that I rehabbed for a customer. The liner lock was broken, so I made him one out of brass. He also wanted Walnut handles put on it, and I found some with a decent burl grain.
It was not my best work, but it was different and I learned a lot on this repair!

That's about the last knife I thought you would be working on. Great job. It is a big one.

Excellent work on that Case! They sure made some heavy duty knives for WW II!

Great looking project, sir.
Those scales are gorgeous.
And I love the vintage look of the frame and blade.
Great contrast and they complement each other well in the final product.
