Hello,
My name is Dean and I have been in the background for a few months trying to soak up all of the tremendous knowledge on this site. I could have used all of your wisdom in the early 70's when I started buying knives at flea markets. I remember buying a few Case knives thinking they were seconds due to the XX on them. Thanks to this website I have started taking apart and repairing a few knives. I just completed my sixth but so far only two have been put back together in working order. The other four kind of blew up due to my learning process. I will try to post the two I have completed. I will also try to add to the site if I have any thoughts that may be helpful but so far I can only learn.

Thanks for having me on board.
Regards,
Dean

Hello Dino_J
The other four kind of blew up due to my learning process.

That's OK sometimes we too learn that way. Just save the parts for some other knife. ::nod::

I will look forward to seeing your masterpieces and your collection.
