Looks good, a working knife should feel like an extension of your hand while an art knife willl usually go any direction. Many makers forget the ergonomic aspect when making a knife.

I remember the Oregon show in 2007, a guy came up to me and said I paid $450.00 for this knife and asked what do you think and handed me the knife. I just said the maker did not contour the handle and left the edges sharp - made it uncomfortable to even hold - much less use. So, not worth half of what you paid. I don't know what happened after that, maybe he was looking for a second opinion. My answer was immediate, so I think that tok him by surprise.

Anyhow, that's comfortable looking, what's the OAL and blade length?

The blade is just a hair over 4 inches; overall length is 8.6 inches, if you look he made a slight blade drop on it, not like a Canadian boot knife but more or less, like, his own idea?
His price was too reasonable to pass; I really wasn’t looking for a fixed blade at all. With the materials he used, mosaic pins, ATS34, Buffalo Horn, and Hand made sheath, he must have one of those computer etchers right? To get that Tang Stamp on their? I don’t think he does it for the profit. Now a couple of his knives were very impressive like the Ivory Carved Bear Head, he was like “pick it up feel it” It looked to be uncomfortable but it really felt nice even though it was an art knife. He really enjoyed sharing his work and that was neat for me.
