A place to discuss & share pictures of counterfeit knives. Please be sure to alert the AAPK community if you spot one. Also make sure to ask questions if you are not certain about the authenticity of a knife you are considering buying or selling. There are plenty of great people here willing to help.
It’s a shame they don’t do this for other items (like knives). https://pages.ebay.com/authenticity-gua ... dingcards/ But I’m also sure it comes with a cost. The ad says it’s free - for a limited time. In a way though it’s an indication ebay knows there is a lot of fraud in their listings.

When the people fear their government, that is tyranny. When government fears the people, that is freedom.
Like eBay takes fraud and counterfeits "very seriously". They might for companies (like high-end watches and luggage) whose products are heavily faked (and are likely bankrolling this effort), have the money and lawyers to fight it; but eBay is chock full of Chinese sellers of bootleg items. There are fakes for basically every tactical knife brand out there--Fox, Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw/Zero Tolerance--these are just a few.
I think if eBay really cared about fakes, they'd shut down the eBay accounts of the dozens of Chinese sellers with loads of counterfeit merchandise.
