Not Playing With A Full Deck.....

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I did not know that this pocket knife was available until it was much too late. I am posting the following pocket knife for posterity and for future reference. It is a CAMILLUS, single blade, single tang stamp, "King Of Hearts", playing card, pocket knife. It has a CAMILLUS tang stamp, NOT a WESTERN tang stamp. The pocket knife pictured below is NOT mine. The pictures are NOT mine, they belong to the seller. They have NOT been edited, altered or enhanced by me in any fashion, EXCEPT for the size.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

This afternoon, this pocket knife arrived and it became the latest "card" to be added to the "deck." It is a CAMILLUS, "King Of Hearts", single blade, single tang ETCH, 3 1/8" closed, lockback pocket knife. It has a CAMILLUS tang ETCH, NOT a CAMILLUS tang stamp. I now have a total of ten, "King Of Hearts" pocket knives. Six with WESTERN tang stamps, three with CAMILLUS tang stamps and one with a CAMILLUS tang ETCH. This is only my second "card" pocket knife with a tang ETCH, instead of a tang stamp. The other one is the CAMILLUS "Ten Of Hearts" and it has been previously posted under this topic or thread. It did NOT need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Just one "card" closer to putting a complete CAMILLUS tang ETCH set together.
I haven't seen a WESTERN "card" pocket knife with a tang ETCH (so far).

Like I stated in "Mail Call" I've been looking for these for a while now. I found them at www.knivesplus.com and got the set.
I just need to find a creative way of displaying them when I move into our new house. BTW I think some of you have been
showing the Camillus but the ones I picked up are Western Cutlery.

The Western stamped / made by Camillus set you have there looks unused. Nice Score . It would look nice displayed with the Ace thru 10 of Hearts Cards . Will look nice in your new home whatever way you display them .

Today, my trip to the post office produced this pocket knife. It is now the latest "card" to be added to the "deck." It is a CAMILLUS, "Ace Of Hearts", one blade, two tang stamps, 3 1/8" closed, lockback, pocket knife. The blade front side has a "CAMILLUS" tang stamp, NOT a "WESTERN" tang stamp. The blade back side has an "887" tang stamp (they probably used a spare blade from a pattern "887" pocket knife). I now have a total of four, "Ace Of Hearts" pocket knives. Three have "WESTERN" tang stamps AND "Limited Edition" blade etches (from broken up sets?). One, this one, has a CAMILLUS tang stamp and does NOT have a "Limited Edition" blade etch. The other three "Ace" pocket knives were previously posted under this topic or thread. This pocket knife came with a box. It didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures, here it is.

This is the first time I have investigated this thread, but when I finally saw the title I couldn't resist! I have been following Skip's quest to obtain certain models and from your information Skip it seemed that the 'Ace" and "Jack" were the models you were having trouble finding with the Camillus stamp you wanted, so to read your most recent post regarding getting the "Ace" you wanted made my day! I will now keep an eye open for the "Jack" and let you know should I come across one! Your focus to collect certain knives is most impressive Skip, I hope you eventually obtain all the models you're looking for! 8)
