Got all the cleaning and laundry done so I’m ready for my company tomorrow. My back hurts like H, a shot of bourbon and retire with the heating pad is the plan.

Terrible newa. One of my best friends of 50+ years was found today at his home, the victim of a stroke & possible heart attsck. He just turned 80. He's now in the hospital with no prediction as to his immediate future. This SUCKS in a major way.

Man, that stinks. Prayers for all involved.

Me I’m pondering if I’m gonna turn in early (before midnight) or go back down to my office and keep working. Decisions decisions.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I checked in and it's nice to see the LNL somewhat busy. Not a lot going on around here. It's rained every day this week so there hasn't been much of an opportunity to get anything done outside. I'll try to get the yard mowed tomorrow, weather permitting. Today was mine and the wife's 33rd anniversary so we went out for a nice dinner. Got home just in time to see the Braves start another losing streak. They're not playing very well to start the season. Too many strikeouts and poor bullpen performances have hurt them of late. I hope everyone has a nice night and be safe out there. Rick.

Jerry I am so sorry to hear of your friend's trouble. One of the most difficult realities as we get older is seeing bad things happen to our friends or losing them altogether. Thoughts and prayers Jerry.

Thanks Garry.

03:45 head call. I can't figure out if this is Late Night or Early A.M. I can however decide it's time to crawl back in the rack. ::yawn::

Jerry I'm very sorry for your loss. I know you'll miss him and I know first hand how much it sucks losing a really good friend. I'll be praying for his family, and for you.

Took my Granddaughter 3.5 hours to make a two hour trip. Just dropped my daughter at the airport. Even with Bob's funeral it's been a great weekend. Made better by the presence of my Great-grandsons. My daughter and granddaughter spit shined this place. It hasn't looked this good in years. (I'm not much of a housekeeper). Good night everyone.

Welp...time to wrap it up here. Tis 17 after the stroke of midnight.
Expecting some rain and storms around 6-7 in the a.m. News says the bad stuff will push under us and we should get some good rain with some thunder.

Have a wonderful night, everyone! Peace be with you for the night. ::pray::
