Years ago I had an old Italian switchblade that broke, so disappointed. I found a Hubertus auto with a broken spring at a local flea market, I replaced the spring and that started me on knife making. My first knife build was replacing 95% of the parts on an Italian switchblade. After that I made a liner lock folder out of Damascus with Mother of Pearl scales.
The first image is the Italian knife I made parts for, the second knife was my first complete knife.
I recently started making knives again.
